Vereor Nos Rules and Ranks

Rule Information:

* Vereor Nos is first and foremost a guild for helping one another. Members are encouraged to help those in need of assistance whenever possible and do not hesitate to ask for help when you need it. As with any situation, please try to make sure that you are giving as much or more than you are taking.

* Our guild is open to players of all ages and as such, foul language is not acceptable in guild chat. Use good judgement when in party chat and vent and do not use foul language unless you are sure that no one in your group/channel will be offended.

* Looting guidelines for non-raid instances are:
   - Roll greed on BoE items unless you need them
   - Roll greed on BoE items if ti is something that you will equip and use
   - Pass BoP items and decide what to do after everyone has passed. This is because the time that is given to roll is not always long enough for someone to compare it to what they are wearing.
   - After everyone has passed the BoP item, /roll for it
   - These guidelines can be changed as long as it is done in advance to an item dropping and everyone in the party agrees to it.

Rank Information:

Probate

Requirements:
1. Read and accept the guild rules
2. Complete an application
3. Achieve a majority vote from the officers

Responsibilities:
1. Find out who all of the officers are

Privileges:
1. Access to the forums
2. Access to guild chat
3. Access to ventrilo

Restrictions:
1. Cannot spend dkp (but can earn)
2. Information not entered into guild database
3. Not on guild mailing list
4. Cannot receive items from the guild bank
5. Cannot add alts to the guild
6. Can be gkicked by a majority vote from the officers

Alternate

Requirements:
1. Must have a member (not probate) in the guild
2. Fill out an application for the alternate

Member

Requirements:
1. Create a forum account
2. Complete at least 1 instance appropriate for your level with 2x officers
3. Complete a collection task for the guild assigned to you by the officers (e.g. collect 200x heavy leather)
4. Request & signup for an instance using the instance sign up pages

Responsibilities:
1. Help fellow members whenever possible
2. Attend guild scheduled instances whenever possible

Privileges:
1. Can earn dkp
2. Information entered into guild database
3. Can add alts into the guild
4. Can receive items from the guild bank

Restrictions:
1. Can be demoted to probate by a majority officer vote

Veteran

Requirements:
1. Achieve maximum level with your character
2. Attend minimum of 50% raids
3. 3x instance assists

Responsibilities:
1. Sign up early for instances
2. Install all guild-required mods
3. Participate in forum discussions for your class
4. Regularly visit forums and requirements page to see how you can meet the needs of the guild

Privileges:
1. Can petition for funds/items/rep grinding for the benefit of the guild
2. Access to the veteran's tab in the guild bank

Restrictions:
1. Can be demoted to probate by a majority officer vote

Officer

Requirements:
1. Hold rank of veteran for 2 months
2. 5x instance assists
3. Majority vote from officers with less than 25% votes against

Responsibilities:
1. Seek out and evaluate probates
2. Contribute to the needs of the guild (class lead, oversee tasks, etc.)
3. Expected to participate in all officer votes
4. Set an example for other guild members

Privileges:
1. Invite, promote, demote guild member privileges
2. Can call for vote to demote member or gkick probate
3. Can offer suggestions for how the guild should progress and call for votes from other officers.

Restrictions:
1. Can be demoted to member by a majority officer vote
2. Number of officers cannot exceed 10% of guild members
